University Baptist Church
The University Baptist Church seeks to impact the University community by bringing people into fellowship with God and one another. We focus on five areas of ministry: worship, study, prayer, fellowship, and service.
Affiliation
The University Baptist Church is a member of the American Baptist Churches of the Great Rivers Region. We support the worldwide mission of the denomination and the larger body of Christ. Out of this community come leaders who serve Christ around the world. UBC activities provide a wide range of possibilities for those who want to share the joy of the life together as churched Christians.
We're also proud to host the Urbana Theological Seminary's offices (http://www.urbanaseminary.org).
Location and Services
The church building is open from 9:30 AM to 8 PM daily during the Academic Year and 9:30-5 during summer and breaks. Sunday worship is held at 11 AM with Bible study at 9:30. Other activities are scheduled throughout the week.

First Time Guests
Worship
UBC's worship style is contemporary Christian music, with the incorporation of classic hymns.
Dress
Dress is casual, or if you'd like to dress up, that's fine too.
Accessibility
Our building accomodates all persons.
Child Care
We offer a clean, safe space for children of all ages, and volunteer staff are available during the 11am Sunday worship service.
Parking
The BSF parking lot is available for you on Sunday mornings; you may enter from Daniel Street. Ample free parking is also found on Saturdays & Sundays in garage C-10, on 5th St. just north of Daniel St., a block east of UBC’s building. Metered parking spaces on Fourth Street are free on Sundays, and one dollar per hour during the week.
